Providing our students with the best conditions to learn and live happily.
Parents’ Perspective
An Extraordinary Team, a Unique Model
The leadership team of Lycée La Jonchère is made up of five complementary individuals from diverse backgrounds—education, business, and engineering. Each one is an expert in their field, all are close to the students, and all share a common vision: a school where learning happens differently.
What makes them stand out? They lead together. Here, there is no rigid hierarchy, but a collective intelligence that allows the school to grow alongside its students. Since its creation, their collaborative model has fostered an environment where every decision is guided by a single priority: offering the very best to the young people they support.
Alongside them is a team of exceptional teachers driven by the same values. A unique energy, a daily commitment to every student’s success—these qualities make Lycée La Jonchère a truly special place.

How are students’ progress and achievements assessed?
Each week, a teacher meets individually with every student to review skills, progress, and behavior. Together, they identify the student’s strengths and areas for improvement, using indicators that show where they stand and what to work toward next. This individual tracking continues week after week, ensuring steady progress and personalized support.
This approach helps every student understand their learning journey and feel encouraged and guided.

To rejoin the public system, families must contact the local DSDEN office, specifying the desired grade. The DSDEN will schedule a placement test to ensure consistency between the requested class and the student’s level. Tests generally include French, mathematics, and English for entry into 9th or 10th grade, and French and mathematics for earlier grades.
Barring special circumstances, our students meet or exceed national standards, making this process straightforward.
